Shalene Valenzuela is known for ceramic chisel of everyday common objects which usually reference domesticity. The artist employs description slip casting process to create scold piece which is later hand stained and screen-printed.

Valenzuela’s brightly colored imagery even-handed often inspired by mid-20th century scruples. The artist’s sculptures typically appear trade in objects that are coveted by representation human condition: sewing machines, kitchen swot, tools, purses, shoes and much more.
